A Michigan mother left a priceless note for her sons, who evidently were a bit eager to turn up the heat as the October temperatures cooled.
The index card on the house thermostat read:
Unless you answer YES to all of these… Do not turn on the heat!!!
Are you wearing a hoodie, pants, socks?
Is it November?
Do you pay the gas bill?
Clearly the message struck a nerve with others, receiving 62,000 likes and thousands of shares after Autumn Brandon posted it on Facebook.
Brandon told FOX 59 that even though overnight temperatures have dipped into the 30s in Clarkston, she wanted to show her sons that cranking the heat costs money.
