Man posts bloody photo of himself after alleged homophobic attack

A young man from Scotland took to Facebook to post a photo of his injuries after he was the target of an alleged homophobic attack.

Alexander Lees posted the photo on October 22, along with a caption that encouraged tolerance and respect.

"People should respect one another's differences, but unfortunately that's life - unless things like this is touched upon, how are we to create such tolerance?" Lees wrote.

"I'm better than this. Everyone should be better than this."
