GREENVILLE, S.C. (WTXF/STORYFUL) - A Texas man was reunited with his dog that was stolen three months ago and eventually found halfway across the country.
Prak Dara, of Katy, Texas, says his dog Titan was taken from his home earlier this year.
A few weeks ago, he got a call from the SPCA in Greenville, South Carolina asking him if he was missing a dog.
Dara wrote about receiving the call on a GoFundMe page he was set up for Titan, "at first I thought it was a joke or a mistake cause I honestly thought I would never see my baby boy again after over 3.5months."
An employee sent a photo of Titan to Dara, which he says caused him to break down in tears, as Titan had been mistreated, and could barely open one of his eyes.
Dara drove roughly 1,000 miles to reunite with his beloved dog and shared video of the emotional reunion.
He urged others to never lose hope when it comes to lost pets, and created a GoFundMe page to help pay for Titan's medical expenses.
