Officials: High school employee served students pot brownies

A local Atlanta school employee is accused of taking pot brownies to school and serving them to students.

Atlanta Public Schools says they were notified Friday after two students and a second employee showed symptoms of being under the influence at South Atlanta High School.

The three were taken to the hospital for observation.

An APS official told FOX 5 that the employee believed to be responsible has been removed from the school and will face possible disciplinary action depending on the results of an investigation.

"APS has a clear code of conduct and enforces high ethical standards designed to protect the safety and well-being of our students," the statement said.
