Pa. Turnpike back open after tractor-trailer fire
BRISTOL, PA (WTXF) - The Pennsylvania Turnpike is back open, Friday afternoon, after an early morning tractor trailer fire.
SKYFOX was over the scene. The tractor trailer was hauling printer ink when it crashed and caught fire. Emergency crews extinguished the fire, and no life-threatening injuries were reported.
Eastbound lanes were closed between the Bensalem Interchange, Exit 351, and the Delaware Valley Interchange, Exit 358, for hours.
At one point, there was only one westbound lane open.
