Philadelphia police officer injured in crash while responding to call

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - A Philadelphia police officer was involved in an accident while responding to a call for a person with a gun.

SkyFOX flew over the scene at Stenton and Upsal shortly after 8:30 p.m. Wednesday night.

The vehicle sustained heavy front end damage while the other vehicle has driver rear damage. The officer and driver have been transported to Einstein. No word on their injuries at this time.
