Police in search of man who robbed a Spring Garden restaurant

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Police are looking for a man who they say robbed a North Philadelphia restaurant.

The incident happened around 3:10 a.m. on Wednesday morning when a man broke into McCrossens Tavern on 529 North 20th Street in North Philadelphia.

Police release a surveillance video showing the man breaking in through the outside basement doors of the restaurant. Officials say the man attempted to open the cash register but was unsuccessful.

After wandering the property, the suspect took four bottles of wine and liquor which are valued a total of $160.
