Police officers free bald eagle trapped in car grill

Police officers in Clay County, Florida, responded to a call from a driver on October 8 after a bald eagle flew in front of the person's car and become trapped in its grill.

Working with personnel from the local fire and rescue service, the police were able to free the eagle and bring it to a nearby wildlife sanctuary to recover.

Photos of the bald eagle have gone viral since they were posted by Clay County Sheriff's Office, racking up thousands of likes and shares.
