Rain Returns, Sporadic Downpours Across the Area Thursday

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF)- After more than 20 days without rain, it has finally returned in full force. Expect showers for most of the day following Thursday's rainy start.

Humidity will accompany those sporadic and soaking downpours, as well as thunder and lightning and thunder in some areas.

The high for this rainy Thursday is 82 degrees.

The rain is expected to impact the evening rush before finally tapering off around midnight in most areas across the region.

As for Friday, the rain will be gone but the clouds are expected to hang around as the high reaches 84 degrees.
