Suspected drunken driver slams into back of police cruiser on I-95

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - A suspected drunken driver crashed into a Philadelphia Police cruiser on I-95 overnight Monday.

The incident occurred at about 2:20 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-95 in northeast Philadelphia.

According to AID, police were assisting State Police with a previous crash when a man driving a black SUV slammed into the rear of the patrol car.

No officers were in the car at the time of crash.
