VIRAL PHOTO: Teen Provides 'Backup' for Texas Deputy Pumping Gas
(FOX News)- A photo of a teenager providing "backup" for a Texas police officer has gone viral.
Harris County Deputy Constable Tommi Jones Kelley posted the photo to Facebook and explained that she was gassing up her patrol car when she noticed the teen standing behind her.
Ok, so EARLY this morning I was pumping gas in my patrol car (reason I look like a Hot Mess!)...& add it was pouring...
She asked him why he was there, and he replied, "To make sure you stay safe!"
After she finished pumping gas, she says the teen just walked off and got into the passenger side of a car.
Kelley walked over to talk with the driver, who was the teen's mom. The officer told the mom that her son was amazing for what he did.
