Woman Claims Job Offer Was Revoked Due to Hairstyle

Lara Odoffin, who wears braids, expressed her disgust over the retraction on Facebook. She posted a photo of a note that was allegedly sent by the employer .

The note, from a person named Sam, explains that the company cannot accept braids, as it did not fit in with the grooming and uniform requirements handed down by their clients.

The note informs Lara that if she is unable to remove the braids, they will not be able to offer her any work.

In her social media response, Lara explains:

"This type of discrimination should not still be happening in this day and age and any establishment still condoning such practices deserve to be shamed and criticised."

She continues by adding that the discrimination has left her disgusted, and she asks others to share her post.

So after being accepted for a position within this company, they have TAKEN BACK the offer of a position on the grounds...

The post has been liked and shared thousands of times in just a few days.
