Woman gets video footage of her own heart during surgery

(STORYFUL) - An Atlanta-based nurse recently had heart surgery on an aortic aneurysm "that was growing and at risk to rupture."

She asked her doctors if they could take a picture of heart during surgery and they went one better, shooting video of her beating heart.

Her Reddit posts of the footage have quickly gone viral.

She reports that the surgery was successful and that, nine days later, her recovery is going well.
