Woman in van shot twice in leg, may have been drug-related

FRANKFORD (WTXF) - A woman is recovering after she was shot twice in her leg, while sitting inside a van.

It happened just before midnight in Frankford.

Police said the shooter walked up to the car on Wakeling and Saul streets, and fired at least ten rounds before taking off.

The victim is in stable condition.

Marijuana was found in the van, so police believe the shooting may have been drug-related.
