'College Gameday' is Coming to Philadelphia, Independence Hall

PHILADELPHIA- WTXF - College Gameday, ESPN's traveling weekly pregame show, will indeed visit Philadelphia next Saturday for Temple's game against Notre Dame, the show's official Twitter account announced Monday.

The venue for the event is indeed Independence Hall, an ESPN PR representative said on Twitter.

The undefeated Temple will play the Fighting Irish Saturday night. Rumors throughout last week had placed the show in Philadelphia, but the decision was delayed. The show's producer, Lee Fitting, also said on Twitter that the choice between Philly and West Virginia University was the toughest call of his tenure.
