Every junior in Camden City School District takes SAT for free

The high school graduation rate is up by nearly 20 percent in the past six years in Camden, and more students are now pursuing higher education.

High school juniors in the Camden City School District took their SATs during school Tuesday as part of the district's SAT School Day, one of its new measures to help students prepare for college and meaningful careers.

It's the first school district in the county to use the College Board's innovative SAT School Day program.

The district also offers free practice SATs (PSATs) in school for freshman and sophomores, as well as help for students preparing for the tests.

FOX 29's Steve Keeley has more in this video report on the help students are getting.
