3 separate Germantown shootings overnight, 1 deadly

It was a violent night in Germantown, where police are investigating three different overnight shootings.

All of them involved men in their 20s.

In the 500 block of E. Walnut Lane, a 28-year-old man was found shot lying on the street, in front of his home.

Police say the shooting happened just after 1 a.m., and they found shell casings and a blood trail at the scene.

The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Also just after 1 a.m., but in the 6300 block of Moylan Street, a 23-year-old man was shot multiple times from two separate guns.

Police say the man was standing in front of his girlfriend's house when he was shot.

Then, he was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle in extremely critical condition.

Authorities say they're using private surveillance cameras to help identify the gunmen.

The third incident occurred just before 2 a.m., leaving one man dead.

It happened at the intersection of Wayne Avenue and W. Seymour Street.

A 20-year-old man was shot, and he was killed.

Police continue to investigate all three shootings.
