A DJ wrote an article calling Prince 'the Greatest Living Music Artist' on day he died

(STORYFUL) - Timing is everything.

Spurred on by reports of Prince falling ill a few weeks before, DJ and radio prodcer Stephen Guignan - "Stevie G" - wrote a column for Cork newspaper the Evening Echo calling Prince "the greatest living music artist."

The article, unfortunately, was published the same day Prince's death was announced.

Grainger took it in stride, though, enjoying his moment trending, saying it was what Prince would have wanted.

A number of Twitter users were inspired by the uncanny timing of the article to suggest potential subjects for Grainger's future writing, while others asked that he not write about them.
