Busted! Beagle pup gets caught trying to escape cage at shelter

(STORYFUL) - One pup at Isle of Wight Animal Shelter in Windsor, Virginia, was looking to make a quick getaway before getting caught.

In footage shared to Facebook on November 28, Buttermilk, a beagle, can be seen climbing on her cage, and eventually pulling herself up to the top. Sweet escape came close, but Buttermilk realized she was being watched.

The shelter told Facebook followers that Buttermilk was not injured in her attempt to flee.
