(STORYFUL/WTXF) A patron at the Chicopee Walmart in Massachusetts was disgusted to find birds pecking away at packages of raw meat in the store and posted footage of the incident to the Facebook page of local news site Western MA News on November 29. According to local reports, the bird situation was remedied after 17 birds were removed from the store and the affected meat was discarded. However, the video quickly gained attention.

According to Western Mass News, a Walmart spokesperson said they have additional safeguards in place to try to prevent this from happening in the future.
