House explodes in Valley Township

SKYFOX was over the scene of a house explosion in Valley Township, Pennsylvania early Friday afternoon.

Crews were called to the scene on the 1100 block of Valley Station road around noon.

Patricia Osbeck lived in the home for almost 40 years, and was at the YMCA at the time. But as she drove back home onto her block, she was met by police.

"He said I'm not gonna pull any punches. Your house is gone. Completely gone," she explained.
"I just cried. What are you gonna do? Just thank God there was nobody in there. I live alone, and I had no animals."

Patricia's home had been burglarized two days earlier. Police were just there last night. Patricia's daughter, from Lancaster, rushed to her mom's home when she heard the news.

"She was thinking about staying home after her surgery a couple days ago. I'm just so glad she didn't stay here and she went to her swim class as she normally would," her daughter said.

Police confirmed no one was inside the home at the time of the explosion.
