NJ State Police public safety telecommunicator dies in crash

Authorities announced the death of a woman who worked with New Jersey State Police as a public safety telecommunicator.

Police say 26-year-old Renee Wright was tragically killed in a motor vehicle crash on Friday as she was traveling to work to begin her shift.

Renee graduated as a member of the 49th New Jersey State Police Public Safety Telecommunicator Class on March 3, 2017. She also graduated from the 81st New Jersey State Police Trooper Youth Week Class in the summer of 2009.
