Police release sketch of suspect in burglary in Egg Harbor Township
EGG HARBOR TWP. Pa. (FOX 29) - Police are investigating a burglary in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey.
Albert says neighbors call him the mayor of the Delilah Oaks development at Kingsley Drive in Egg Harbor Township. Perhaps, it's why he's doing his own investigation into how someone broke into a home here and startled a family inside.
Police say the man got in through the back door of a house this past Sunday--just before midnight--and encountered a woman and young girl in the kitchen area.
Cops say two others were asleep in the house and hurried to the kitchen before the suspect ran off with stolen property though it's unclear what they got away with.
Investigators say a man who lives at the home ran after the thief but he got away. Police later said witnesses saw the man running to a dark-colored sedan with a spoiler on standby and took off.
