Surveillance footage released of West Phila shooting suspect

PHILADELPHIA, PA (WTXF) - Police are looking for a man who fired shots in West Philadelphia.

On June 7, 2016, at 2:02p.m., an unknown male was captured on surveillance video sitting on the corner of 60th and Ludlow Streets, police say.

The suspect then crosses the street and retrieves a handgun from inside a book bag on the corner and begins firing it at an unknown people missing his targets, one of whom returns fire along the busy highway.

The suspect then fled the area and was last seen east on Ludlow Street.
There were no injuries reported during this incident.
