Suspected drunk driver hits pedestrian

OLNEY (WTXF) - A man crossing the street was hit by a car and the driver is in jail for DUI.

The accident happened at about 1:45am in Olney.

Police say a car heading northbound at 5th and Ruscomb streets hit the 37-year-old victim.

He's in critical condition after surgery.

The driver's side of the car's windshield was shattered. The driver, 62, was not injured.
