Weather Authority: Pleasant Friday to be followed by wet weekend

With rain possibly on the way this weekend, be sure to take advantage of Friday's beautiful weather!

We're keeping an eye on some high pressure that's going to be moving offshore, leaving behind some more humidity. Highs will be in the mid-80s before cooling off on Saturday.

Saturday, we'll have an eye on a coastal system that will be hugging the east coast as it heads our way. That system should bring rain to parts of our area by the afternoon Saturday, and last into Sunday.

Then, on Sunday, we'll be keeping an eye on a second system moving into the area. The heaviest of the rainfall is expected to come Saturday and into Sunday.

Flash flooding is possible, and some areas could see up to an inch of rain when all is said and done.

Saturday things will cool off with highs in just the mid-70s. Sunday will warm things back up a bit, with a high of 83 degrees.
