PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - A week full of beautiful weather will continue Wednesday as we face the possibility of record high temperatures.
Wednesday will be breezy and a bit warmer than Tuesday with a high of 86 degrees. That high will bring us pretty close to the record of 89 degrees that was set back in 2010.
As we get further into the week we'll have a chance to break even more records on Thursday and Friday. Both days have a forecasted high of 90 degrees, while the record high for Thursday stands at 90 degrees, and Friday's record stands at 91 degrees. Both of those records were set in 2001.
The next chance for rain could come late Friday night in the form of Thunderstorms before things cool down just a little for the weekend.
Here's a quick look at the next few days:
WEDNESDAY: Sunny. High 86F
THURSDAY: Partly cloudy. A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible. High 90F
FRIDAY: Times of sun and clouds. Late Thunderstorms. High 90F
SATURDAY: Showers possible in the afternoon. Highs in the low 70s
