Police: Man shot in shin on highway in Hunting Park

PHILADELPHIA - A shooting on a highway has left one man hospitalized early Sunday. 

The shooting happened at 8th and Cayuga Streets on the highway at approximatley 7:20 a.m.

A 40-year-old hispanic male was shot once in the left shin.

He was transported to Temple Hospital by private vehicle and is listed in stable condition.

The scene was held with no arrests made and no weapon recovered.
