Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival a lively event, despite the weather

A fun day was had by those who trekked out to the Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival, despite the weather.

Attendees got to sample beer and cocktails, listen to live music and experience street cafes, art displays and family activities.

Police blocked off Walnut Street between Broad and 17th, 18th and 19th for the event.

Festival representatives said the purpose was to experience Rittenhouse culture. Many different shops and restaurants were on display throughout the various blocks on Walnut.

Attendance was expected to top 50,000 people.
