An undercover officer was shot at in Southwest Philadelphia.
PHILADELPHIA - An undercover officer is home recovering after his car was shot at overnight in Southwest Philadelphia, according to authorities.
Police say the car he was in was hit by a bullet on the driver's side around 2:30 a.m. near S 58th Street and Lindbergh Boulevard.
According to authorities, the officer was injured from shattered glass.
The extent of the officer's injuries remains unknown.
An investigation into the incident is active and ongoing.
2. 9-year-old girl fatally shot in Trenton, prosecutor says

A nine-year-old girl has died after being shot in Trenton on Friday, authorities with the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office say.
According to the prosecutor's office, the shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. in the Kingsbury Square area.
Authorities say patrol units responded to the area for reports of a shooting and fights breaking out amongst a large group.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a large crowd in a low-rise courtyard and the nine-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound, police say.
According to authorities, the child was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center then the Robert Wood Johnson New Brunswick Hospital, where she was pronounced dead just before midnight.
No other injuries were reported in the incident, police say.
The prosecutor's office says no arrests have been made and the investigation is active and ongoing.

3. 18-year-old arrested, charged for fatal shooting of 19-year-old in Reading, police say

Wilson Ventura-Cruz, 18, was arrested and charged with 1st-degree murder.
The Reading Police Department has announced the arrest of a suspect accused of fatally shooting a 19-year-old man on Friday.
According to police, the shooting happened on the 1400 block of Schuylkill Avenue around 5:17 p.m.
Officers arrived in the area and found the victim dead and were directed toward a car fleeing the scene of the shooting, police say.
Authorities say officers located and stopped the vehicle in the 700 block of Schuylkill Avenue.
Police identified the driver of the car as the shooting suspect, 18-year-old Wilson Ventura-Cruz, according to police.
4. Philadelphia police investigating several incidents that left at least 6 injured across the city
Investigators with the Philadelphia Police Department are looking into several violent incidents that left at least six people injured Friday night and Saturday morning.
According to Philadelphia police, officers with the 25th District responded to the 1200 block of West Silver Street around 9:54 p.m.
A 26-year-old man was found inside a residence on the 2700 block of North 11th Street with multiple gunshot wounds, police say.
He was transported to Temple University Hospital where he is in stable condition, according to officials.
5. More than 80 Philadelphia Fire Department members respond to fire in Kensington

Dozens of members with the Philadelphia Fire Department responded to a fire in Kensington on Saturday morning.
More than 80 members of the Philadelphia Fire Department jumped into action to fight a Saturday morning fire in Kensington.
According to fire officials, the fire took place on the 3000 block of Kensington Avenue around 11:50 a.m.
It took over one hour to put the fire out.
Officials did not release any information on the cause of the fire.
5. 'You can do anything': Shift at Deptford Fire Department features company staffed only with women
"You can do anything you set your mind to!" That's the message female firefighters in Deptford are hoping to spread.
As Women's History Month comes to a close, it's fitting that Saturday's shift at the Deptford Fire Department featured a company staffed by all women.
It's a sight not often seen in the male-dominated field.
"It’s very rare, very rare. I mean, we’ve had obviously a couple of us on duty for duty crews together, but this is the first time we’ve done a truck of just females running the station."
